Senior Scientist: Sample Preparation, Sequencing and Genome Variant Analysis

Research qualifications and technical skills:

Theoretical knowledge and extensive experience in consultations on compatibility of material preparation methods with the expected quality of data and the bioinformatic workflows
Practical experience in preparation of variety of DNA Sequencing and RNA Sequencing libraries for Next Generation Sequencing on Pacific Biosciences Systems, Oxford Nanopore Technologies Systems, Illumina Systems and MGI Systems.
Fluency in running and setting up the sequencing on various platforms (Revio, Sequel Systems, PromethION 24, NextSeq 2000, NextSeq 500 and DNBSEQ-G99) as well as use of related equipment (e.g. Bioanalyzer, Qubit, Covaris, Megaruptor 2, Megaruptor 3, TapeStation system)
