Senior Scientist: Sample Preparation, Sequencing and Genome Variant Analysis
Research qualifications and technical skills:
- Theoretical knowledge and extensive experience in consultations on compatibility of material preparation methods with the expected quality of data and the bioinformatic workflows.
- Practical experience in preparation of variety of DNA Sequencing and RNA Sequencing libraries for Next Generation Sequencing on Pacific Biosciences Sequel Systems and Illumina Systems.
- Fluency in running and setting up the sequencing on various platforms (Sequel II, Sequel I and NextSeq 500) as well as use of related equipment (e.g. Bioanalyzer, Qubit and Covaris).
